MISSION
It is the mission of the Assessor to provide a fair and equitable valuation to all real property for the purpose of property taxation for Village, Town, County, and School District property taxes. The Assessor’s office does not set budgets or levy taxes. The tax rates on your tax bills are the result of the expenditures and levy requests of the taxing jurisdictions in which you reside.
The Assessor’s office is responsible for data collection on all improvements made to a piece of property. We measure and record information on these improvements supported with digital pictures. Property owners are reminded to obtain building and demolition permits as required.
